Blacksburg Community Band Performances
The Blacksburg Community Band has performed at many locations for regular concerts and special events in the past concert seasons. The band also performs a formal concert in the spring and for Christmas in the Blacksburg High School auditorium.

On March 13, 1999, the Peninsula Concert Band from Newport News, VA, travelled to Blacksbrug to give a joint performance with the Blacksburg Community Band. Together they performed the Strauss Radetzky March, Holst's First Suite in Eb for Military Band, and other popular favorites including America the Beautiful. On July 1, 2001, the Blacksburg Community Band will recipricate by travelling to the coast to perform with the Peninsula Concert Band for another band exchange! Visual documentation.

On August 9, 2003, the Watauga County Community Band traveled to Blacksburg for a joint concert with the Blacksburg Community Band in Old Dominion Ballroom in Squires on the Virginia Tech campus. Together they performed selections including Overture from Guys and Dolls, Original Dixieland Concerto, and Bravura.
On November 9, 2003, the Blacksburg Community Band joined the Watauga County Community Band on the campus of Appalachian State University for a joint concert. Together they performed selections including Lincoln Portrait, Poet and Peasant, and Napoli.
